Information about Trailer Marine On-line
Trailer Marine On-line is a trading name for a website owned by TMS (Technical Solutions) Ltd. We are registered in England under company number 8822264 and our registered office is St. Denys House, East Hill St. Austell Cornwall Pl25 4TR. Our trading address for this website is St. Andrews Road Par St. Austell PL24 2LX. Our VAT number is 179 209 382.
Payment of Orders
When you place your order with us, Worldpay, our payment partner, will authorise your card for transaction. This means a request will be sent to your bank to debit the total order value immediately. Transactions are handled on our behalf by Worldpay. All orders are paid for in GB Pound Sterling (£) and are inclusive of Vat at the standard rate. If you intend to pay with a non-UK based credit/debit card, you accept that payment may fluctuate depending on exchange rates between time of ordering and charging of credit/debit card.
This applies to orders placed on our website only.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, and UK Maestro.
We do not currently accept PayPal for payments.
The taking of payment at the point of order does not indicate acceptance of your order. Acceptance will occur when we send you a dispatch of goods confirmation e-mail.
Trailer Marine On-line website shows product stock indicators. When you, the customer, places your order you do so in acceptance that goods may not be in stock at time of ordering. We have included this term in the case of stock discrepancy. Any goods out of stock will be notified within 48 working hours of the order being placed. Standard delivery time for out of stock goods is within 14 days. If further delays are expected, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.
We continually check and compare our prices and endeavour to offer you the best value. However due to a number of factors such as; currency, raw material and manufacturing costs which can vary beyond our control, prices can alter and therefore we reserve the right to change our online prices without prior notice. We kindly ask that customers have patience and understanding when this is the case.
Prices include VAT (unless otherwise stated) but do not include delivery charges; delivery costs are added to you order at the checkout.
Confirmation and Acceptance of your Order
When we receive your order we will send you an e-mail acknowledgement. This is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation of goods dispatched via e-mail. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
While your credit card may be debited before the contract is formed, if we do not accept your order, a refund will be made immediately after rejection of the order.
Please note all parcels are sent by courier on a ‘signed for’ service. No parcels will be left at an address without a signature unless with prior consent. In this event all damages and loss will be the responsibility of the customer. In the event the courier could not leave the parcel a “ sorry you were out...' card is left at your address you should contact the courier company responsible for delivering your goods first.
Your Right to Cancel
You are entitled to cancel your order within 28 calendar days, beginning on the day you received your goods. Please refer to the returns policy for full details. For items normally unable to be returned by post such as pressurised containers, hazardous liquids or flares, please contact us for an indication of courier costs for these items. The may also incur a restocking charge.
Product details and descriptions on this website are based upon information obtained from suppliers and are correct at the time of printing. Errors and omissions excluded. Due to constant product development and more efficient sourcing of product we reserve the right to substitute or update the catalogued products with amended or improved products at any time.
Goods may be returned for full refund within 28 days of receipt. We cannot, however, refund or exchange damaged goods, non-stock items or goods which have been made to order such as cut lengths of rope, chain & wire or tins of paint which have been opened. Returned goods must be packaged securely, with all original packaging undamaged and in a saleable condition. The customer is responsible for the cost of carriage.
We will send the customer a confirmation e-mail with a returns document. Please include this document with your return.
Faulty Goods or Incorrect Goods If you receive your goods and believe them to be faulty or incorrect, please contact us straight away with a brief description of the problem. We will be happy to either replace the product or offer a refund for the value of the goods returned upon receipt and inspection of the items. Please note in some instances item may have to be sent to the manufacturer for inspection.
Unless the item(s) is faulty the customer will be charged for the cost of carriage.
Procedure for Returning goods to Trailer Marine On-line
1. Please contact us by ringing 01726 814177 or email on firstname.lastname@example.org We can quickly determine whether you would like to return the product for a refund or whether you'd like to exchange the product. We are unable to process the return of faulty goods that we're not expecting.
2. We will e-mail you a returns document to attach to your return. Please note, failure to mark a returns reference number on the outside of your parcel may result in a delay in processing your return.
3. It is advisable to retain your proof of postage or tracking number.
4. Once we receive the item we will review the return. Any Refunds will be credited to your card within 10 working days
